Eyes Of Tirana

Eyes Of Tirana

Project details

The 31-story mixed-use building features stacking and subtly shifting cubic volumes, generating recessed and projected facades that articulate the building form and soften the overall vertical scale. These volumetric shifts enhance structural performance by mitigating the effects of strong winds and earthquakes, and furthermore, organizing the building program in each mass, creating terraces with a city view, and improving daylight inside the building.
From an architectural photography perspective, these elements reveal a redefined European approach to the contemporary high-rise design, where materiality, façade depth, shadow play, and spatial rhythm express the building’s identity. The result is a dynamic, human-scaled form that aligns with Tirana’s evolving pixelated skyline language, now prominent in emerging European urban development.
