Qasr AlHokm Metro Station

Qasr Al-Hokm Metro Station is a major public infrastructure project within the King Abdulaziz Project for Riyadh Public Transport, located in Riyadh’s historic core. The station forms part of the city’s expanding metro network, connecting contemporary transit architecture with long-standing urban identity.

Designed by Snøhetta for the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the project is experienced as a spatial transition—from an underground interior rooted in identity and historical continuity, through structure and materiality, to an exterior that suggests movement and a forward-looking future, gradually revealed through natural light.

This architectural photography documentation was produced using a handheld approach at a human scale, focusing on perception, circulation, and the experience of movement through public transport architecture.
